Perinatal & Postpartum Therapy in Leawood, Kansas

Support for the wild, tender seasons of growing a family.

Wherever you are in this season

The child-raising years are eventful and exciting — and they can also be extremely difficult. You might feel anxious, tearful, irritable, or not quite like yourself. Perhaps your birth didn't unfold the way you'd hoped, sleep feels far away, or your relationship has shifted in ways no one prepared you for.

If you're struggling, it doesn't mean you're doing something wrong. Therapeutic needs during these years are specific to each individual and relationship. Wherever you are in your perinatal, fostering, or adoption journey, we are here to offer you support and to explore, together, what emotional health and wellness can look like for your family.

Who we work with

We support individuals and couples navigating:

  • Postpartum depression and anxiety

  • Worry, intrusive thoughts, or feeling on edge during pregnancy or after birth

  • Difficult or traumatic birth experiences

  • Pregnancy loss, infertility, and grief

  • Identity shifts and the adjustment to parenthood

  • Changes in your relationship after a new baby

  • Adoption and foster parenting, including attachment and transition

  • Complex seasons of caregiving, family dynamics, or developmental concerns

What to expect

Our first session is a chance to share what's been happening and what kind of support would feel most helpful. Together, we shape an approach that honors your family, your energy, and your schedule. Our time may include space to process, practical tools for coping, body-based support for stress or birth trauma, and care for your relationship with your partner.

Telehealth can be especially helpful during this season, when getting out of the house with a little one isn't always easy.
